Fake people and other things

So a few weeks ago a couple that me and my husband told us they were pregnant. Well I of course told my best friend who kept the secret with no issues.  Well another mutual friend found out because they over the husband on the phone. Well this couple decided to blame me and my friend for letting everyone know. Yeah ok... Well she ended up miscarring and I hate it for her but I don't think that right now was the best time for them. But other than that we are moving to Ohio for Mikes job at Northfield Park. And for Christmas my sweet husband got me a cruise. I can't wait!!! The Bahamas are calling my name!!! And next year we're hoping for a baby!!!

So as I'm sitting at my weekly poker game we have a new guy who is a bit disabled and I noticed that he still has a flip phone. This made me think about how much I truly use my iPhone. I can't believe that I really do shut people out from being on it all the time. I understand texting back and forth because you can do that on a flip phone to but other things should be done in private. This guy seems to of had a great night and literally said "this is so much fun!" I felt so good hearing him say that and I am thankful for the people we play with that can make this a great time for not only him but everyone that comes! I love my poker family!

Missing my hunnie bunnie

So Mike has been out of town since early Tuesday morning and it's Saturday so I have definitely missed him a whole lot!!! I know I don't call or text him enough but I just never know if he's busy. From now on I will do it anyway! I love you sweetie! Hurry home to me! 9/05/15

Bestie is moving

So after a great outing with my Bestie Becca she informs me she is probably moving. Like a good 98% moving. She hates what's she's doing and just wants to move on with her life. I don't blame her at all. I hate to see her go but I know it will be for her best interest. 😢 Such a sad day.

Post vacation.

So a few weeks ago me and mike surprised our family in MS with a visit! It was probably the best surprise I've ever pulled off! My mom cried like a baby! We also bought a new car!!! It's our first car together!!! Sadly our trip had to come to an end and we had to return home. If only we had more time! Hopefully next year we can spend two weeks there!

So as most people in buffalo love summer I love Fall!!! Like I can't wait for fall weather!!! Pumpkin spice lattes and everything else pumpkin!!! It's going to be fantastic!!!

Best of Friends

So lately every week me and my friend Rebecca have gotten together and gone out for a girls day! I know I have a blast when we go out and I certainly hope she does! I truly enjoy spending talking things we have in common and just relaxing like old friends even though our friendship is new. Today we had lunch at Wegmans and then did a bit of grocery shopping. (Me for snacks and she bought actual food😉) I was finally able to get her a decent maroon today! Lord knows the ones she tried before were disappointing! But I hope we have many more hang out days ahead!

Believing in yourself.

So Michael has been out of town for the last two days and I've been holding down the fort. Not a lot of people know but I really don't like going places by myself. Idk why... But I was hungry and Someone had paid me back for something over the weekend so I decided to get Mexican! They lady would sit me at a huge table in the middle of the restaurant... But I got over it. Besides missing my honey I was thinking about my business It Works. ( mrscarter907.myitworks.com for readers) and how I have to be strong and more independent if I'm going to become more successful. I need to rock this business because there is money to be made!

Heart aches

So on the 23rd my mom had a heart attack. They called it a slow heart attack because it happened over several hours. But she did have a triple bypass on the 26th. She did really well through it all. Well while she has been in the hospital her 2nd husband, Doug decided to be stupid and get completely high and drunk and ransack my granny's house and their house and he wrecked moms car not once but twice and ended up completely totaling it out after a hit and run. He was arrested for DWI and hit and run. I feel so sorry for my mom! I miss her so much I literally hurt!! If I had the extra money I would fly to her! I haven't cried this much from missing her in awhile. I think what hurts more is finding out how my grandparents and mom have been loving. Less than paycheck to paycheck. My granny told me all they had to offer Doug in his drunken stooper was potted meat. I feel horrible knowing that that's how they are getting by and I'm up here getting my nails done and buying coffee before work and what not. I feel like complete shit. I just pray God takes this pain away...

The Princess is born!

Today at 8:34 the Dutchess of Cambridge gave birth to a princess!!! Her name has not yet been released but the first pictures of the little one are beautiful! 

Today is also the anniversary of the battle of Hogwarts and the Kentucky Derby!!!

Co workers

So for the last 7 weeks I have worked every Saturday all day, a double shift if you will. My "co worker" if you can call her that, took this job of being a home health attendant and she doesn't want to work when she is told to come in or is needed. I was so angry to the point of tears today because I just want one Saturday off. She told me that she can't work until May 9th. Since I'm in charge of  scheduling the next day she needed off sorry I can't come in. I'm tired of her getting her full hours every week and not working anything close to them and me working over and not getting paid for them all. Not to mention she called in last minute and made me work almost 24 straight. I do not like this chick and never will at this point.

So my last three post have failed to upload why I don't know but my sweet husband got me over 200 Peruvian lilies for Valentine's Day. He lucked up and got a new game, new bag for work and three new shirts. He deserves so much more for how hard he works! Love you sweetie!

So as I'm sitting here listening to my french book I cant help but to dream about being in the French country side eating with fresh flowers all around. And then Taylor Swift comes on the pa and I have restrained myself from dancing.

So today has been a test day for sure. I have had the chance to cheat on my diet all long and so far so good. I even went as far as to bag a donut up at walmart but left it behind! I even went to the soda machine and got water! So proud of myself!

French Macaroons

So I have wanted to try french macaroons for over a year now but no one around my area makes them. I was going to order some but for 10-12 is $30! Plus shipping! So my roommate finally gave me rent and I was to go shopping and while on my way to the meat counter what do I see but a 6 pack of mini french macaroons! I grabbed them so fast I probably gave them whip lash. It was $6 for 6 tiny ones but I didn't care. So i finished shopping and as soon as I was in the car I tore those babies open and savored a raspberry one. It was everything I expected and more! It was crunchy yet moist. And the filling was tart and sweet. If i ever see them again I just might buy them all!

So me and Michael started the paleo diet and I'm pretty sure its killing both of us. I should have made surr the house was stocked with approved food before starting. However I have found several things on pinterest that I'm very thankful for. Hopefully we can both keep it up!

So I swore that I posted something about going to Michaels parents for Christmas but I guess not!. His mom is a fantastic cook and boy did she have some food for us! From meat salad to hiney gladed ham and fish! She had it all!

New Year!

So I havent really seen that many new year new me kinda status go up. I always want to lose weight so it would be pointless to post something like that. This year me and Michael need to focus on money matters. We need to pay off what we owe on things and save save save! For a hopeful baby and new car!
